Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 28, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of learnresponse.com and the plugins and services sold by LearnResponse (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By buying, downloading, or using our plugins, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purchases and payment
Our plugins are sold through Freemius, Inc., which acts as our authorized reseller and handles checkout, payment processing, invoicing, and sales tax. Your purchase is also subject to Freemius’s terms. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless shown otherwise.
2. Licenses
- Each license lets you use the plugin on the number of websites included in the plan you purchased.
- An active license includes plugin updates and email support for the length of your plan.
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account; the plugin keeps working, but updates and support stop when the license expires.
- You may not resell, share, or publish your license key.
Our WordPress plugins are distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Your license key controls access to updates, support, and premium services; it does not limit your rights under the GPL.
3. AI-generated feedback
Some of our plugins use artificial intelligence to generate feedback on student work. AI feedback can be incomplete or inaccurate and is meant to support, not replace, the judgment of instructors. You are responsible for reviewing feedback and grades before relying on them.
4. Your responsibilities
- Use the plugins in compliance with all applicable laws, including student-privacy laws that apply to you (such as FERPA).
- Tell your site’s users when their submissions are processed by AI and get any consent that is required.
- Keep your website, WordPress install, and any third-party API keys secure.
5. Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
Our plugins and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the plugins will be error-free or compatible with every theme, plugin, or hosting setup.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LearnResponse will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the plugin in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date above will be updated.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
